Too busy to type out your Google search? Or are ya just too lazy? Either way, Google has been thinking about these scenarios lately with their introduction of voice recognition in its Google Mobile Search app. The voice support is designed specially for the Indian accent. The voice recognition technology is currently available for Nokia S60 users only.
The application supports search for local businesses, such as restaurants and pharmacy stores, along with including other features like cricket score updates. “The downloadable application automatically detects the user’s location and facilitates faster access to Google Search,” Google India products head Vinay Goel said.
The application also minimises any typing while using the mobile keypad using ‘Google Suggests’. Nokia mobile users can download the free-to-use Google Search mobile application from m.google.com/search. Mobile users can go to the same address for downloading the application directly to their mobiles.
