A few leaked screenshots unveil what may be the new look of the Google UI across all GOOG web apps, including Gmail. The screenshots have been leaked by a tipster via Engadget.
The authenticity of these images have still not been verified. The screenshots depict a unified Google Wave look throughout all the applications. The tipster told Enagdget that “the goal is to provide a consistent experience throughout all Google Apps and blur the line between the browser and the website (e.g. drag and drop, right-click, etc.).”
Even if the screenshots are not genuine, the idea of of having a consistent experience really makes sense. I would love to see the transformation from the boring Gmail UI to the Wave-like rumored Gmail – or at least something along those lines.
