NASA attaches the chemical detecting abilities to iPhone

The world continues to grow at an amazing pace but the price of this growth is being paid by the natural resource of the mother earth. Chemicals expelling out of the industry are polluting our nature and our environment both. With all this NASA has given out chemical detecting abilities to the iPhone in the form of iPhone accessories and the brilliant guys of NASA have really made up and won the victory to create such sensory device.

iPhone chemical sensor

iPhone is the gadget for nerds and with the latest application it will now be the favourite of all. NASA's Ames Research centre have worked with the Department of Homeland security and they both have given out a small chemical detecting sensory device which can detect the less concentration of airborne chlorine gas, methane and ammonia. It's a small portable device which can be plugged in the iPhone and than it will turn the mobile phone to a chemical sensor device which is very effective and at low price.

This tiny device suffices a sample jet and 16 nanosensors which are equip with multiple channel silicon sensing chip. This sensor will immediately sense the chemicals present in the air and then it will soon send this data to another device through its wireless connection. NASA has really broken the nuts and has proved their status by giving such a useful device.
