The latest delicious addition to the LG Black Label series is coming to Europe this month, followed by an October launch in other countries and regions. The New Chocolate, or the LG BL40, will be launched by LG with the Carphone Warehouse and Orange in the UK.
This handset struts its distinctive stuff with its extra wide screen and some very attractive features. The ultra wide screen (21:9) makes it ideal for viewing HD content and enabling movie playback. The dual-screen user interface also allows for better use of applications, which might distract you from more important tasks, such as *not* walking into a pole or falling into an open manhole while texting
The rest of the specifications include:
- GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3G HSDPA 900 / 2100
- 4.01″ TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
- 5 MP camera with LED flash and auto-focus
- S-Class Touch UI
- Multi-touch capable
- 1GB internal memory with microSD support (upto 32GB)
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- A-GPS
- DivX support and TV-out with Dolby Mobile
No news on pricing yet. But judging by the features, this one isn’t going to be easy on everyone’s wallet.
