iHammock is a iPhone dock concept that rests your iPhone on a hammock after a busy day. Mac Funamizu, the designer, wanted to get rid of the irritating sound of vibration of the iPhone when kept on table or other similar surface. Mac wanted to get raid of the vibrating sound and designed this elevated iPhone dock.
“I was thinking if I could make something soft to put my iPhone on so that it doesn't rattle when vibrating, and thought that a hammock style would be fun.” Mac wrote on his blog.
Mac also designed a tiny cocktail-style parasol for the hammock. The parasol is not to protect your iPhone from sunlight. It rather acts as a solar charger when connected to the dock. The solar charging thing would definitely add up some cost to it. But if its ever really made, who wouldn’t want to buy it?
