The HTC Leo we told you about a little while ago has officially been announced, and it is now called the HTC HD2. Apart from its dazzling looks, this device also has some power specs packed in.
The HTC HD2 has a 4.3” full capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch support and is powered by Qualcomm’s 1Gz Snapdragon processor (the only other handset to have that is the Toshiba TG01). The large screen has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The phone features 512MB of ROM along with 448MB of RAM. The HTC HD2 will work on WinMo 6.5 and also has the new version of HTC’s Sense UI.
Other features include -
- 5MP camera with dual LED flash and auto-focus
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- GPS
- MicroSD support (a 2GB card is included with the handset)
- 3.5mm headphone jack
The HTC HD2 also features lots of office features, such as the edit function for Word and Excel. PDF and PowerPoint support is read-only. The handset also has support for movies, music and social networking. Be it for work or entertainment, the HTC HD2 fits in everywhere.
The phone is expected to be available first in the UK. It will be up for sale this October and would not be confined to any network.
