Mac users are not going to be forced to use any ‘unsafe’ hacks to install Windows 7 OS on their precious portables. Apple announced that it willprovide a Boot Camp update ’soon’, which will allow for Windows 7 installations on Mac.
The update will include support to install either of the three variants of Windows 7 – Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate. The update is expected to be released before the end of 2009. This Boot Camp update will come as a software update to Snow Leopard. Windows 7 support would unfortunately not be available to users of earlier versions of the Mac OS.
