We had a little surprise from the Twitter team today morning when we saw this ‘Lists’ feature being enabled on our account. This is one of the most wanted features on Twitter and its going live with just a small number of accounts receiving this at the moment. Currently in beta, this feature allows us to create usergroups to follow and keep them either private (for ourselves) or public (visible to all). You can follow one of our small test groups (public) created is here at http://twitter.com/onlygizmos/og (currently it seems that you cannot view this list if you do not have the lists beta invite from twitter)
Lists are timelines you build yourself, consisting of friends, family, co-workers, sports teams, you name it. You’re part of a small group receiving this feature, so don’t tweet about it yet!
On our Following page we have this option to create a new list or add any user (we follow) to an existing list. Do drop us the links to your custom lists as soon as you have this feature enabled for you
