Vaio has always been a status symbol, premium series. And Now Sony is trying to capture the mid-level notebook market with the introduction of its NW series. The dual-toned NW series has a classy design and a new texture. The notebook has a 15.5″ real wide screen with a clear touchpad.
Isolated keyboard provides better typing speeds with fewer typing mistakes. The notebook comes with an integrated HDMI output connector to view the image on a television screen in high definition.
NW series also features a Quick Web Access function. The Quick Web Access alows the users to browse the web in one click without waiting for the OS to load. Environment friendly users can save some energy using the Display Off button. The applications keep running in the background while the display is put off.
The Sony entertainment software’s like the VAIO Movie Story, Picture Motion Browser (PMB) and Vaio MusicBox are inbuilt in the NW series. Movie Story allows the users to enjoy high definition movies with digital sound on their notebooks. PMB is a photo and movie organiser. A cool features is the MusicBox playing your favourite tracks according to your mood.
The specs include an Intel Pentium Processor T4200 (2Gz), Bluetooth, WiFi, 2GB memory, 160GB Hard Drive with pre-installed Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit.
The notebook is now available in India at a price of Rs. 37,990.
