has been discovered by Japan’s
Macnica and Fujitsu (a joint venture of two companies who have developed the
product); they call it a "Software Platform for Home Network Digital Photo
Frames" which is based on Google’s Android. This Digital Photo Frame has an embedded
software platform for home networks.
This
photo frame will be a part of the 12th Embedded Systems Expo i.e.
the ESEC2009, which is held from 13th May 2009 at Tokyo, Japan.
This will be shown as a segment of home appliances with embedded Android system for the first time. This
great gizmo can be gifted to any one who is in need of such product which also
works as a photo frame when required. This device can display photos with slide
shows also. It has a feature of sharing the photos via network with DLNA
technology. The cost is not mentioned by the company but it is quite sure it
will not cost more as compared to the facilities which are embedded into it.
