We all have had our desk clutter woes while working with several USB devices at the same time. Folks at Quirky have now come up with a simple and interesting solution to minimize the clutter, while giving you 6 additional USB ports.Quirky is an online design community that gives creative thinkers the opportunity to get their product ideas out into the marketplace. After Split Stick and Watt Time, Space Bar is their latest offering. It’s basically a shelf made from Aluminum and Plastic, that gives you space to slide in your keyboard under it, while adding 6 USB ports to your system.
The shelf can stow keyboard (18-inches or less in length, 15-inches high) and on top, it’s meant to be used as a central place for keeping your USB devices, or any other stuff you can think off as clutter (keys, cell phones, sticky notes), thus allowing you to minimize (or rather organize) your desk clutter.
Or if you’re a believer that more the clutter, more creative the person is, then you can simply keep your monitor over the shelf (it seems strong enough for it) and slide your keyboard under it. This gives you additional space for your clutter . Not to forget, it also adds up 6 USB ports as well.
Space Bar is now available from Quirky for $42 USD (Rs. 2000 INR) and manufacturing starts after 590 units have been pre-sold. Now would someone please make that coffee table aswell?
