TomTom presents App and Car Kit with 2D and 3D Mapping

As new and new gadgets are launching everyday there are also many software launched in various fields. TomTom Has brought a software and hardware used as a car kit both with POI i.e. points of interest. The software enables both 2D and 3D mapping functionality.

Of all the software brought out to demonstrate the developing capabilities of Apple iPhone OS 3.0, the most interesting has to be TomTom’s turn-by-turn navigation app.  Both a software app and an accompanying car kit were announced, complete with Points Of Interest (POIs) and both 2D and 3D mapping.

The mapping functions itself rotates to suite which includes landscape and portrait modes. It also has the facility of working into night mode which enables the screen to lower down its graphics. The car kit is also great that supports which also enables night and day modes both. Some of the cool features of the kit include a speaker with microphone for hands free calling into the car. The price and the availability of this product is not available yet.
